Are your paternity tests recognized by German authorities (child services, immigration, or courts)?

Yes.

Our paternity tests are accredited by the DACH in accordance with ISO EN DIN 17.025; this means that our tests fulfil the highest quality standards. In addition, we regularly participate in interlaboratory round-robin testing in conjunction with the German Association for Forensic Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Rechtsmedizin, or GEDNAP). For that reason, we only test samples taken by a medical doctor. Samples can be taken at our lab or by a doctor of your choice. In the latter case, you can download and print the appropriate forms ("Identitätsfeststellung" and "Untersuchungsauftrag") from our website.

Please note: you must bring valid personal identification with you to the doctor (Passport(s), the child's birth certificate, etc.). If samples are taken by your family doctor or doctor of choice, it is extremely important that those sample be sent directly to us from your doctor!
