MGZ - Medizinisch Genetisches Zentrum

For more than twelve years the MGZ - Medical Genetics Center has offered a comprehensive spectrum of human genetic diagnostics, an important part of which is genetic counseling. Precise knowledge of a patient’s familial anamnesis, the creation of a family tree, and a physical examination of the patient are essential for targeted genetic analyses.

Human genetic consultations can take place at our practice in downtown Munich or at our branches at Mammazentrum Deggendorf and Klinikum Traunstein, as well as at our branch offices at Kreiskrankenhaus Eggenfelden, Klinikum Rosenheim, Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Onkologisches Zentrum Donauwörth, and the Zentrum für Kinder und Jugendliche in Altötting.

The corresponding cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnostics are then performed by an experienced team in our accredited and certified human genetics lab.

You may also make independent use of our lab by sending us samples. The interpretation of test results for individual medical genetic questions is overseen by a doctor specializing in that particular area.
